MAT

Mat Classes (class size is limited to 10 participants)
Offering various levels from beginner to advanced, Pilates Matwork is the foundation of The Pilates Method. Students will learn proper alignment, breath, core engagement, and flexibility training. The Classical series order will be taught. A Beginner Mat class is an excellent way to be introduced to the Pilates Method.

All mat classes are performed on a Peak Pilates Platform Mat and may incorporate the Pilates Circle, foam roller, or ball. Placement in classes at the intermediate/advanced level is at the discretion of the instructor.

EQUIPMENT CLASSES: (class size is limited to 4 participants)

Reformer Classes:
Joseph Pilates created all the equipment to act as additional muscles, aiding the body on its path to health. The Reformer accesses the weak or elusive muscles of your body to uniformly build alignment, muscular balance and create flowing movement. A Beginner Reformer class is an excellent way to start exploring the equipment work.  Placement in a Beginner Reformer class is at the discretion of the instructor once the client has completed one private session.

Equipment Combo Classes:

These classes utilize all the major Pilates equipment and are performed on the Reformer, Tower and Chair. A larger movement vocabulary is introduced so the client benefits from the unique challenges of each apparatus.  Typically, a client would enter a combination class after they have had multiply private sessions or at least adequate experience in the Beginner Reformer class.

***All participants are required to take a minimum of one private session before registering in an equipment class. Class placement is at the discretion of the instructor.
